Circuit Riders to San Francisco!!

In just a couple of weeks I will be attending a seminar called The Circuit Rider school for 1 week followed by a 2 week trip to San Francisco to evangelize!! The Circuit Rider seminar is a 1 week training course inspired by a man called John Wesley who encountered God in 1703 and started the Methodist revival and a man called Francis Asbury who carried the message of the gospel on horseback thousands of miles across America!!! The seminar has been running all summer in Fiji, Lancaster, PA, Kansas City, Missouri, and will hit LA before returning to Kona, Hawaii in September. So far they have seen a radical move of God break out and thousands healed and saved!!!!

I'm so excited to attend the seminar and carry the torch of revival to San Francisco!!! The plan is to work closely with the YWAM base in the Castro district downtown which is said to be a hot spot for prostitution and drugs. We beleive that we will see people healed, saved, and set free as they encounter the simple gospel of Jesus Christ.

Please partner with me in prayer for this trip!! That God will prepare hearts to receive this message!!

Also please prayerfully consider partnering financially with me. I need to raise about $2,000 for this trip. Any amount would help me out!!!

Austin Outreach!!!

Every quarter the leadership track does a short outreach also called a "strike". The purpose of these strikes is to carry our heart for intercession, worship, Godly community, and spirit led lifestyle to the nations. This quarter we are going to Austin, Texas!!! At first I wasn't at all interested in going. But, once i prayed I knew i was meant to go and now I am so excited for what he is going to do through our team there!!

The trip:

A team of 9 staff will be there from June 19th to July 1st. The Lord has already provided free housing, tons of ministry opportunites, and casseroles made by amazing southern hospitable women!!

We will be working with a local church:

~teaching and worshiping with the youth group
~having prayer and worship evenings
~doing a 24 hour burn which is praying and worshiping for 24 straigh hours for the city
~working with, discipling, and encouraging the youth group from the church
~preaching and teaching
~helping the leaders of the new ywam base to fix up their building and serve them any other way we can
~possibly helping with the Tabernacle of David worship conference that just happened to fall on the weekend we are there!!
~spending as much time as possible praying over the city at the local house of prayer
~doing as much local outreach as we can in the city sharing Gods heart with whoever he leads us to

Our main goal is to be as intentional as we can with our time since we have a very short time and lot's that we want to accomplish.

Please pray for the team for unity, specific vision from the Lord, and divine encounters.

I am in need of $1,460.00 for my plane ticket and ground fees.

Amsterdam-Prayer partners needed!

Last month myself and a team of 20 from the Leadership track were led to go to Amsterdam for two weeks. We went mainly to pray and meet with leaders on the ywam base and the ministries that the base has in the red light district. The tabernacle (house of prayer) and the lighthouse (anti-trafficking ministry) are dedicated to revival in Amsterdam and seeing the red light district closed down!

I was so encouraged in prayer to know that the Lord is so much more dedicated to the city than we could ever be. I believe that his heart is to use these ministries and women that are rescued and restored from protitution to fight human trafficking head on and help to restore a broken city and the church that has lost its voice.

If you feel led to pray for the city here are some prayer points:

1.The key to effective intercession: pray for Gods heart for the Nation.

2.That the Lord would send long term laborers with a heart to intercede.
Matthew 9:37-...the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few

3.For the specific women that are working in the district right now that God is calling to be leaders in his church. He created them, he knew them in their mothers womb, he has a purpose and a plan for their lives! Pray for their freedom, pray that they would be open to know their Lord and savior!

4.Battle spiritual strongholds over the city with the opposite spirit:
Lonliness with Revelation of the Fathers love
Passivity with Boldness
Greed with Generosity
Lies with truth
Hard Heartedness with Compassion
Lust/Perversion with Purity

Euro Trip 2013!!

After a week of traveling stopping off in London and Paris with two of my team mates from Kona, we took a 9 hour bus ride (which turned into a full 24hrs.) to meet up with the rest of our team of 18. It was cheeper to fly through London and we had free places to stay along the way! God is so good!

London Town!!
The Eiffel Tower!

Notre Dame Cathedral

Thursday we met the rest of our team of 18 from Kona at the YWAM base in Amsterdam!! We will be here serving for the next two weeks. So far I really love this city!

View from my window in Amsterdam!!

We will be staying at the YWAM Amsterdam base aka ywamsterdam. :) Our focus will be working with the base and the prayer house they have set up in the red light district called the Tabernacle. The main focus of the tabernacle is prayer, worship, and mercy ministries.

Our 3 main goals for our two weeks here:
1. Serve the leaders of the base, partner with what they are doing here.
2. Meet with key leaders to plan a training school plant.
3. Get an idea of long term needs of the base, build relationship.

Prayer Requests:
Team Unity, Safety, Sense of purpose.
Please pray that we will see the heart of the Lord for Amsterdam and vision for what He wants to do.
And please pray for spiritual protection over our team.

Happy New Year!

I'm gonna be honest here. 2012 was a tough year. After meeting the Lord for real and falling deeply in love with Jesus and missions in 2010. Then, stepping out in faith and accepting a leadership role in the 2011 photogenX D.T.S. and being completely blown away by the Lords faithfulness in my weekness! After the excitment of all of that I was ready to give my life fully to missions forever. But, the Lord led me to stay in Cleveland for over a year. I know now, to deal with my broken past. So yes 2012 was emotional, raw, and very hard. I learned that the hardest mission field truly is your own home town!

Good news though, it's a new year! And the Lord has called me back to UofN Kona!!! I am currently participating in The Awakening Leadership Track. It is a program designed to train and equip Leaders  to have discipline, a strong foundation ,and sense of identity in Christ that will lead them into and through life, destiny, and calling. At first I really wasnt sure what I was getting into and saw the track as a way to learn a bit and get back into the program of missions before staffing the awaken d.t.s. in April. Since being here I feel that the Lord is leading me to wait to staff d.t.s and focus on the track for a while.

My weeks will consist of 3 mornings a week working in the staff services office on the campus processing all the new staff that come in. Small group time to process with people from leadership track. One on One time to be discipled and learn from other leaders on the base. A preaching and teaching class. Community outreach to a local high school. Discipling high school students from the base. Two hours a day Monday through Friday of corporate prayer and worship for specific issues and or nations. Four hours a week at least of individual prayer time in the prayer room. As well as bible memorization and reading books.

Also, the leadership track is planning a 2 week trip to Amsterdam in April to pray into and prepare the way for school to be planted there in the future! So, I am praying about whether to go with them!

There's so much more to say, but, I will leave it at that for now. I'm very excited to serve and grow here this year. I already feel I have grown so much and it is only week 2! There will be plenty more updates to follow!
